    The Skyhawks took on the NJCAA  Div. 1 No. 3 ranked Warriors in a Monday night matchup.  The Sauk Valley had the effort to pull the upset, but two areas let the Skyhawks down.  Sauk Valley, a strong free throw shooting team for the season (71%) shot a disappointing  50%  (14/28) for the game; and from the three point line the Skyhawks could only get three to go in against the aggressive Hills defense.  Leading the way for the Skyhawks were Riek Riek with 18 pts. and Atem Agot with 13 pts. and 8 rebounds.  Andre Brandon led the Skyhawks on the boards with 9 rebounds for the game.  The Skyhawks will take on Illinois Valley on Tuesday.  The Eagles are leading the Arrowhead Conference with a 5-0 record after the 1st round of conference action.  Go Skyhawks!
